A Great Day At Lone Star Park

No….not at the horse races; at Winter Hugs Warm Soles! My friend Paula and her Give Big group at work donate a lot of their time and talents for Wednesday’s Child, a local non-profit agency serving foster families. I was able to help Paula at this event and we had a wonderful day.

Each family registered with their particular agency and were able to come and pick out a new winter coat and receive a voucher for a new pair of shoes. Paula and I were in charge of 2 crafts. We made a Frankenstein Box filled with candy (My awesome friends Angela and Kristy had cut out one thousand box pieces and we used most of them), and a Peppermint Patty Spider. I can’t show you the entire spider picture since we were not allowed to take any pictures showing the children, for obvious security reasons.

One of the best parts of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is all the new friends, like Paula, that I’ve made and the opportunities I get to share what I love while helping others.
