Beau Chateau – Day Three

Last, but certainly not least, is our three year old, Maggie. This little girl stole our hearts from the beginning and she still is a delight! She is usually happy (except when someone is trying to get her to nap), and is well on her way to ruling the world!

I used the "Memories" piece from the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper, Victoria Lace, a button and pearls. I wanted each frame be unique, yet have some of the same embellishments to tie them together when mounted on the wall. (be sure to check out Monday and Tuesday's posts to see the other two frames).

The scrapbooking technique I used for this frame is using punches to create fancy corners. I didn't want an edge all the way around so I just punched 4 corners using the Scallop Trim Corner Punch, and then cut off the excess.

I hope I've convinced you that you don't always have to use over the top scrapbooking techniques on your pages. Simplicity is good!
