Here's one more stamped candle idea for you. Stampin' Write Markers are a great choice to use if you want a multi-colored image. These markers are water based so you can color directly on the stamp without any problems. Of course, they can be used to color in a stamped image on cardstock as well. My set of markers are still my absolute favorite Stampin' Up! product; a great way to have all our beautiful colors at once!
Notice the small pumpkin on top of this candle? This is a little tricky but here's how to do that. Stamp your tissue and trim around your image (see yesterday's post for instructions). Then, using a paper piercer, carefully poke a small hole into the middle of the image and carefully feed it over the wick. Poke a hole in the center of your wax paper and gently press it down over the image. You'll want the piece to be large enough to get a grip on it as you heat it. Be careful to heat just enough to set it, but not burn…for a small image it will go quickly!
I'm showing Halloween themed candles, but you can easily choose another stamp and make a beautiful home decor item. I think the Beautifully Baroque single stamp would make an elegant choice. What stamp set have you used?
