Hello stampers! Today's topic is one I have struggled with so I'm guessing some of you might have as well. I want to share a couple of tips that have made mounting and using Stampin' Up!'s super awesome cling stamps easier for me.
First, have you ever had trouble putting the label on your stamp? No matter how carefully you “peel and stick” there's still a part of the label hanging off the stamp. Here's a solution that works for me. I'm using one of the adorable little zebra images from the Zany Zebras stamp set
First, take out a clear block that fits the stamp, the red rubber stamp itself, and the label sheet.
Then peel off half of the backing from the label (you'll see a line where the label backing is cut) and carefully pull up one corner of the label.
Continue to carefully pull away the entire label and put it on your clear block, cling (sticky) side down. Once on your block, remove the remainder of the white backing from the label.
Now you're ready to remove the thick, white backing from your rubber stamp and place it down over the label on the clear block.
Perfection! Notice how the label fits perfectly!
Once you have finished stamping, clean your stamp and remove from the block.
Now, my last tip. If you put a small piece of Washi Tape onto the cling side of the stamp before you store in the case, it will be much easier to take on and off your clear block.
If you found these tips helpful, I'd love to hear from you! Just leave me a comment below and thanks!
