Where Can I Find Inspiration For My Papercrafting Projects?

Hey Stampers! Today I'm here to answer one of the questions most frequently asked by by customers. Where can I find inspiration for my papercrafting projects? We all hit creative “walls” from time to time and we might want some inspiration other than Pinterest, right?

So, today I was trolling through Facebook and this image came up.

See the similarities? The card was made using the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!.

Supplies:

  • Stamp SetsMeant To Be Cling Stamp Set (148626)
  • Cardstock – Thick Whisper White Cardstock (140272); Blushing Bride Cardstock (131198); Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
  • Stamp Pads – Blushing Bride Ink (147100)
  • Misc. – Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (144106); Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder (146335); Be Mine Stitched Framelit (148527); Rhinestone Jewels (144220); Big Shot (143263)

Measurements:

  • Thick Whisper White Cardstock :    11” x 4 1/4”
  • Whisper White Cardstock:    4 ¼ x 4 1/4
  • Blushing Bride Cardstock:    4 x 5 1/4”

Instructions:

  1. Fold your Thick Whisper White piece in half to create your card base.
  2. Run your Blushing Bride piece of cardstock through your Big Shot using the Tufted Dynamic Impressing Embossing Folder.
  3. Adhere your Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
  4. Position your Be Mine Framelits on the adhesive backed cardstock and run it through the Big Shot.
  5. Carefully separate the heart cutouts and position them on your card after removing the adhesive backing.
  6. Stamp your sentiment in Blushing Bride ink on the solid heart cutout, remove the backing and place it on the card within the opening of the remaining heart outline.
  7. Add rhinestones if desired.

Do you ever get a little confused when trying to decide which of our inks to use on a particular project? I've summarized in a quick little chart for you below.

INK USES COLORS CLEANING

Memento Pad Fade-resistant dye ink , acid free. Use with images you will color with Stampin' Blends, re-ink with Memento ink refill Tuxedo Black Stampin' Scrub & Mist, Simply Shammy
Staz On Pad Permanent ink, acid free. Use with images you will watercolor. Vellum and window sheets Jet Black Staz On Cleaner
VersaMark Pad Clear, translucent ink used to produce a watermark effect, Also used for heat embossing and resist techniques. Re-ink with Versamark Refills. Clear Stampin' Scrub & Mist, Simply Shammy
Uninked Stampin' Spots Felt 1″ x 1″ squares. Ink with Classic Stampin' Ink Refills Stampin' Scrub & Mist, Simply Shammy
Craft Uninked Pad & Refill Thick, slow-drying pigment ink. Use for embossing.
Can also use on wood and fabic. Flip top. Use to create an opaque look on dark cardstock.
Whisper White Stampin' Scrub & Mist (use wet wipe or paper towel first to get off some of the ink.
Uninked Spectrum Pad Contains five small pads. Can be used individually or combined for ombre type stamping. Re-ink with Classic Stampin' Ink Refills. Stampin' Scrub & Mist
