I just had to do a quick post to share an epiphany for framelit/stamp set storage that I had today while preparing for some upcoming workshops.
I think I have tried just about everything including:
1. magnetic sheets: You can buy these at Lowes or any “do it yourself” big box type of hardware store and cut them to fit into your storage case. You can also order from a place like Ellen Hutson online. She has a set of 25 magnet sheets, 4-3/4 x 5-3/4 for $13. These are made in the USA, but are out of stock right now.
2. Storing in the folder they come in – I used a box and put them in alphabetical order. This is definitely a pain; constantly searching for the framelits I want.
Here is my epiphany; I shared it with some friends thinking they would say…well, duh!! But, they actually thanked me for the suggestion.
TAKE YOUR FRAMELITS OUT OF THE PLASTIC CASE AND PUT THEM INTO THE COORDINATING STAMP SET CASE BEHIND THE RUBBER! When you go to use the stamp set and the framelits, they will be in one place!!!!!
Have you come up with a storage solution that works for you? Please share in a comment!
