Focusing on Fall – Day 2

Aren't the acorns on this “Focusing on Fall – Day 2” card just adorable! Reminds me of when my 14 year old grandson was just a toddler…we'd collect acorns by the bucketful and he would wash the nuts and then put on their “hats”…I miss those days!!

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set – For All Things (#135155 c, #135152 w)
  • Card Stock – Crumb Cake (#120953), Chocolate Chip (#102128), Cajun Craze (119684), Very
    Vanilla (#101650), Gold Foil (#132622)
  • Designer Series Paper – Color Me Autumn (#135820)
  • Stamp Pad – Early Espresso (126974)
  • Markers – Crumb Cake (#120967), Chocolate Chip (marker set)
  • Miscellaneous – Crystal Effects (#101055), Dimensionals (#104430), Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821)

 

Measurements:

  • Crumb Cake base card: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (scored at 4 1/4″)
  • Chocolate Chip: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Cajun Craze: 3 7/8″ x 5″
  • Gold Foil: 3″ x 4″
  • DSP: 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
  • Gold Foil: 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″
  • Very Vanilla: 2″ x 2″ and 3/4″ x 4″

 

Instructions:

  1. Using markers color acorns, stamp on Very Vanilla small square.
  2. Cover top of acorn with Crystal Effects & let dry.
  3. Stamp greeting on Very Vanilla strip.
  4. Layer Chocolate Chip & Cajun Craze on base card using Snail.
  5. Layer DSP on Gold Foil, wrap w greeting and adhere strip to the back.
  6. Pop-up with Dimensionals on card base.
  7. Layer Very Vanilla acorn 2″ x 2″ on to Gold Foil square and pop-up with Dimensionals on DSP.
