Do you have a dream, but maybe you feel like you've fallen short or, maybe even failed? We all fail at one time or another; the true test is if we keep going!
When I was sitting in our Catalog Premiere party last night, where we got a chance to see many of the great stamp sets, inks, papers and accessories, I had this thought. How many of the creative directors employed by Stampin' Up! have had an idea that never became a reality. I bet quite a few! But, guess what…I bet they just moved on to the next idea and helped to design some of the fabulous new products that you'll get to see very soon! (I'll have a post later in the week to give you all your “catalog options”! 🙂
SO….if you might be in the middle of a “dry” spell or a “season of apparent failures”…don't give up!! You are in good company if you just keep on keepin' on! Remember:
-Beethoven’s music teacher once told him that he was a hopeless composer.
·Abraham Lincoln campaigned for a seat in the Illinois General Assembly and failed. He then opened a general store which failed after only a few months.
·Walt Disney was fired by the editor of a newspaper for lacking creativity.
·The Ford Motor Company was Henry Ford’s third business. The first two didn’t work out.
·A teacher told Thomas Edison that he was too stupid to learn anything.
·Babe Ruth struck out 1,330 times.
