As promised in my December newsletter, today and tomorrow I'm featuring samples and tips for intermediate and advanced "masking" techniques. If you don't currently receive my month email newsletter, please sign up by using the box on the left sidebar.
The two cards are done using overlapping single images. On the Great Friend card, each butterfly is masked before the next one is stamped. To achieve the best result, mask different parts of the butterfly each time to create a random pattern. On this card, the sense of movement that is created gives a very unique effect! The Flower card starts with a flower and leaves which are then masked before the background image is stamped.
