To achieve the “faux watercolor” look on the feathers, she inked her stamp out of the Four Feathers Stamp Set and misted the surface of the inked stamp with water in a Stampin’ Spritzer. This technique works best if you mist a few times, or until you can see small puddles forming. Then stamp on Watercolor Paper. If you want more bleed, you can mist the paper directly.
Another way to achieve this “faux” watercolor look is to use the swatches, swaths, and shapes found in the Work of Art Stamp Set. Aren't these little pumpkins adorable? The sky's the limit with this set; use your imagination and see what you can create!
