another card for all the world to see. (and create of course!)
This card was created by Elisa Ford for our monthly group gathering and swap. I love the simplicity of this card and how Elisa makes use of a small bit of ribbon in a strategic spot on the card!
Instructions:
Cut Bashful Blue Card Stock to 6 x 6 (one sheet of 12 x 12 paper will make 4 cards!); score and fold in half. Round the corners using the 3/16 inch corner rounder (item #109047). Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 3" x 2" and round the corners like on the blue. Stamp the tree from Snow Swirled (Item # 111690) using Handsome Hunter Classic Ink (Item #105215) Stamp the circle images (also from Snow Swirled) onto scraps of Whisper White Card Stock (one in Real Red, one in Bashful Blue and one in Summer Sun) Punch out the Summer Sun Image for the top of the tree using the 1/2" circle punch; use the 1" circle punch for the blue one, and use the 1 1/4" punch for the red one) Our punches are found on pages 186-187 of our current Idea Book/Catalog. Using Bashful Blue Classic Ink, stamp your greeting on the front of the card (Elisa used the Seasons Greeting stamp also from the Snow Swirled Stamp Set). Final step is to punch an opening on the front of the card using the horizontal slot punch (Item #105089). Then take about a 3" piece of White Taffeta Ribbon (Item #109070) and tie a knot through the opening.
