Sneak Peek – February Paper Pumpkin

Paper crafting/ Paper Pumpkin

I'm here today to share a quick video that our Stampin' Up! concept artists made to introduce the February Paper Pumpkin creativity kit. If you watch the video, you’ll get a taste of what you can expect to see in the February kit.

We don't always get to see a kit in advance but when we do, I want to share! I've been a subscriber to this monthly crafting kit ever since Stampin' Up! first introduced these orange boxes of fun…five years ago. This is a one stop box of crafting fun! At only $19.95 (including shipping), the all-inclusive kit has everything you need to have a short, creative escape in your own home. You can even work in your PJ's! 🙂

Every Paper Pumpkin kit is uniquely created by Stampin’ Up! designers and concept artists. The video gives an inside look at the creative process and what goes into developing a Paper Pumpkin kit.

I encourage you to subscribe, remain subscribed, or reactivate their subscription by February 10 in order to receive the February kit. I know you won't be disappointed!

Even better, right now during our Sale-A-Bration promotion, you can purchase a three month pre-paid subscription AND get a free Sale-A-Bration item of your choice! Click HERE to see all the scoop. Once you're a subscriber, you get an extra perk, the ability to purchase past kits! Sometimes the kits have all the materials to make 8-10 cards and sometimes there is a single project, like the monthly calendar in December's kit.

Keep Your Stamps From Falling Off Clear Blocks!

Announcements/ Paper crafting

Happy New Year Stampers! I'm here today with some exciting news! I'm going to share how to keep your stamps from falling off clear blocks. The solution…CLING stamps!

Keep Your Stamps From Falling Off Clear Blocks!

I'm sure you've experienced the same thing I have, when I've inked up a stamp and then just before stamping on the paper…poof…off falls the stamp and lands on the paper in an unplanned spot! This is so frustrating, right? Well, I've got some great news for you!

With the release of Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog comes the release of our NEW Cling Stamps. These new stamps were tested in our Japan market and I've also had the chance to use them for about a month. They truly are a game changer!

Please watch this short video so you can see why I'm so excited to share this news:

Awesome, right? Our classic red rubber stamps are now better than ever! They are the same high quality rubber material you've always loved but now they come with an adhesive image label that will cling like crazy to your clear blocks (annual catalog page e206) OR Stamparatus clear plates (annual catalog page 207) each and every time you use them!

From now on, our stamps will either be “cling” or photopolymer; our large background stamps will also come with a wood option.

You can check out all the new stamp sets in the occasions catalog at my online store OR open any of our catalogs by clicking on the sidebar here on my blog.

Hello Monday! Enjoy Life!

Paper crafting/ Stamping

Happy Monday everyone! Boy, it's been a whirlwind week. We spent a glorious week in Alaska on the Explorer of the Seas as a guest of Stampin' Up! on our annual incentive trip. We crammed so much fun into those 7 days. Here are just a few pictures of our adventures.

Here we are arriving into port at Skagway, Alaska.

Hello Monday! Enjoy Life!

We took a helicopter ride to Chillkat Glacier and breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe the beauty.

Hello Monday! Enjoy Life!

In addition to the gorgeous scenery, we were pampered beyond belief by Stampin' Up! Here are a few of our pillow gifts.

Hello Monday! Enjoy Life!

Had a bit of a sad end when we returned home. A dear friend lost her battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday. We will all miss her terribly but at least she is suffering no more. As I was thinking about a project for today's post, this “enjoy life” card seemed to fit the bill. We never know when our time on earth is over so I do want to enjoy life, just as my friend Tami did until cancer took her. It is indeed a precious privilege to be alive!

Hello Monday! Enjoy Life!

Here are the instructions, including measurements and supplies.

I am lucky to be able to wear jeans to work, and I am a little or no makeup kind of a girl. But, I sure do love one of the new Stampin' Up! Colors, Lovely Lipstick. I wonder if I could use a q-tip and reinker and USE it for lipstick…NOT! Anyhoo, today's color combo is Lovely Lipstick and Basic Black. For some reason, I've always thought pinks and blues look fabulous on cards with just a pop of black!
