The Big Shot Die Cutting Machine has become my best friend! Not only can I use it to help me create perfect handmade cards, I can create an adorable gift card holder in a snap.
Both the samples above use the Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die. I started with a 10.5 x 3.5 inch piece of card stock for the holder. One tip I've learned is to write the dimensions of the card stock needed for a particular die right on the die using a uni-ball Signo Gel Pen. This saves me time since I don't have to re-figure dimensions each time I want to make something. For the inside, I used my Curly Label Punch to create a “pull tab” on top of a 2 x 3.5 inch piece of Midnight Muse Card Stock. The gift card is adhered to the MM Card Stock with a few glue dots, making it easy for the recipient to get right to the gift!
On both of the samples above I used the happy Birthday wishes from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. This versatile set has a greeting for any occasion.
