Who wouldn't want to receive this birthday card! Why not make several to have on hand to wow the special guy or gal…works for either!
Here's a list of all the supplies used; card instructions and measurements follow…enjoy!
Measurements: Melon Mambo cardstock 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, 2 1/4” x 3”; Basic Black 2” x 2 3/4”, 3” x 3”; It’s My Party DSP 4” x 4”, 3” x 4”; Silver Glimmer Paper 1” x 3”
Instructions:
- Fold Melon Mambo cardstock in half, forming a card base of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Use the scallop circle framelit and your Big Shot to cut a scalloped half-circle card.
- Use the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder to emboss the card front.
- Cut a circle from the 4” x 4” piece of DSP, adhere to the card front with a bit of overhang on the fold. Trim off with Paper Snips.
- Cut a circle from the 3” x 3” Basic Black cardstock. Set aside.
- Ink greeting stamp with Versamark Ink and stamp on the 2” x 2 3/4” Basic Black cardstock. Cover with White Embossing Powder and heat emboss using the Heat Tool. Adhere to the Melon Mambo mat – 2 1/4” x 3”.
- Adhere Basic Black circle as shown. Adhere 1” x 3” strip of Silver Glimmer Paper to the right side of the Greeting layers.
- Fold the 3” x 4” piece of DSP in a random pleated fashion and adhere to the back of the Greeting layers. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere all to the card front.
- Wrap and tie a long piece of the Melon Mambo/Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the spine of the card. Tie off in a bow.
- Sign and mail to someone special!
