Super Scallop Edges

If you’ve been around SU for awhile, chances are you already know how to make a scalloped edge on your projects by taking the guard off our corner rounder punch and then creating little scalloped edges along the card stock. BUT, here is another cool way to create super scallop edges.

The card shown here starts with a 4 x 4 inch square of Groovy Guava Card Stock. Run a good bit of SNAIL along both of the side edges and then line up the card stock on top of a sheet of Grid Paper…be sure the bottom edge and side edges rest exactly on a grid line. To create the scallops, you will need to punch out 16 circles from Whisper White Card Stock using our 1/2 inch circle punch. Then, start in the bottom left corner of the GG paper and start applying your circles. Place each circle by lining up with the next line on the Grid Paper. You will place 8 circles on each side and they will be perfectly spaced. To complete your card, layer on top of a 5 1/2 inch square folded card.2008_march_newsletter_embrace_life_
