Sneak Peek Behind the Scenes

Kitchen Sink

Hey Stampers! Today I thought it might be fun to give you a sneak peek behind the scenes in my Stamp Studio. I recorded this quick video to show you a few things and say hi in person! You won't see a lot of fancy storage and equipment but I sure it all works for me and I love spending time in here!

This is where I record my Facebook Monday Night Lives, my online classes and my You Tube videos. Of course, I spend many hours in here stamping, too!

I'd love to hear where you do your best creating! Leave me a comment or email me. I'd love to see pictures, too!

Hope you enjoyed this quick sneak peek behind the scenes.

Create a Quick & Easy Treat Holder

How many times do you need to have a little gift to leave at your hair stylist's, maybe for your favorite server at lunch, maybe your banker, or…? Today I have an amazing project to share with you that comes all the way from Australia from fellow Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator, Kristy Coromandel. Kristy is so talented and in her guest post today she will teach you how to create a quick & easy treat holder. Enjoy her project and please leave a comment! Take it away Kristy!

Hi I’m Kristy Coromandel and I am guest blogging on Anne's blog today all the way from outback Australia in the small town ‘Winton’.

A little about me. I am married with a 6 yr old daughter. My husband is a high school teacher which is what brought us out to live here in Winton in outback Australia.  I have been stamping for over 10 years and love it!

Today, I wanted to share with you a quick project tutorial featuring the Dragon Garden Stamp set and coordinating Dragonflies punch.  Did you know that you can save 10% if you purchase these items as a bundle?

This super cute treat holder is so quick and easy to make.  Start with a 10-1/2” x 3-1/8” piece Thick White CS (159230) and score it at 4”, 5-1/2” and 9-1/2” marks.  I have also included a template below to help. Fold along the score lines and you will see your treat holder coming together.

I have used Dandy Garden DSP (154297) and cut one piece at 3-1/8” x 7/8” piece and a 3-1/8” x 3-7/8” piece.  (note: be sure to place your paper in the right direction if you have a directional piece).  Adhere the 3-1/8” x 7/8” piece to the small flap on White CS and the 3-1/8” x 3-7/8” piece at the other end.  (note:  be sure the pattern is facing the right direction).

Place your treats into a cellophane bag (151312) be careful not to over fill.  Trim and fold down the excess bag around the back and tape down.  Then placing the cello bag just under the score line staple the bag into your treat holder. (Note: be careful that your cello bag does not exceed the length below the bottom score line as it will not close).

Stamp your greeting in Memento Black Ink (132708) onto a scrap piece of White CS (159228) and die cut with the Stitched Shaped Dies (152323).  Adhere to front with Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).

Punch a large dragonfly from the Dragon Garden DSP and adhere to front of project with Stampin’ Dimensionals towards the bottom left of your greeting.

Finally add a scattering of Holiday Rhinestones (150457).  You’re done!

TIP:  Secure your treat bag close with a Velcro dot.

I hope you enjoyed my project tutorial today.  I just want give big shout out and thanks to Anne for allowing me to be a guest on her blog.

Why not try making this treat holder with different pattern paper.  The design will look different every time – give one a try today!

THANKS SO MUCH Kristy for sharing this awesome project with my readers today!

If you happen to be living in Australia and need a great SU Demo, Kristy will be happy to help you!
