Fresh Fruit… I Can’t Get Enough!

Hey stampers, I hope you've been enjoying my “fruity” posts of projects made with the new Fresh Fruit stamp set by Stampin' Up! Today's project uses the strawberry design from the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper as well…enjoy! You'll find complete instructions and measurements below.   • Stamp Sets – Fresh Fruit (141770)
  • Inks – Real Red (126948), Cucumber Crush (138324), Basic Black (140931)
  • Paper – Whisper White (100730), Real Red (126949), Fruit Stand DSP (141660), Cucumber Crush (138335), Vellum Cardstock (101856)
  • Other – Real Red 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon (141693) – 14”, Bone folder (100230), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Snail Adhesive (104332)


  • Whisper White, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, 3” x 3/4”, small scrap
  • Real Red, 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Cucumber Crush, 1” x 3 1/4”
  • Vellum Cardstock 3 3/4” x 5”
  • Fruit Stand DSP – Strawberry design, 3” x 3 3/4”, and Red/white stripe 2” x 3 3/4”


    • Fold Whisper White cardstock in half, using Bone Folder, to make card base.
    • Adhere strawberry paper at the top of the Real Red cardstock, leaving a border around all edges. Adhere stripe paper on bottom of strawberry paper, leaving a border around. Run a strip of Snail adhesive along the “seam” of the two designer papers, and attach the vellum there.
    • Wrap ribbon around card front, covering the “seam” where the two different DSP designs connect.
    • Stamp strawberry image with top on a Whisper White scrap. Be sure to stamp the black outline
    • for both the strawberry and top first, and then fill in with the Real Red for the strawberry and the
    • Cucumber Crush for the top. Cut out the strawberry image. Set aside.
    • Stamp the sentiment in Cucumber Crush on the skinny strip of Whisper White cardstock.
    • Adhere to the Cucumber Crush cardstock with the Snail Adhesive. Adhere to the card with two dimensionals. Adhere strawberry image with two dimensionals.

Summer Peaches…day 2! I am in love with this paper so I just had to show you another project today…enjoy! I'm going to make some to put on my co-workers' desks…I might even put in a couple pieces of chocolate!

  • Peekaboo Peach CS: 4 ¼” x 6 ½”, 4 ¼” x 3”, 5 x 2 ½”
  • Scrap Whisper White for banner sentiment
  • Fruit Stand DSP: 4” x 2 ¾”, 4” x 2 ¼”, 3 ¾” x ¾”
  • Thick White Twine: 9” 


  1. Score 4 ¼” x 6 ½” Peekaboo Peach CS at 2” & 4” along the 6 ½” side. Fold on score lines (see figure 1). The 2 ½” side will be the bottom of the holder.
  2. Adhere the 4” x 2 ¼” DSP to the bottom using SNAIL adhesive.
  3. Adhere the 4” x 2 ¾” DSP to 4 ¼” x 3” Peekaboo Peach CS. Adhere to folded CS using Fast Fuse lining up with bottom of top folded piece (see figure 2).
  4. Score the 5 x 2 ½” Peekaboo Peach CS at ½” & 4 ½” along the 5” side and at 1” & 1 ½” along the 2 ½” side. Fold on score lines, snip along scored line up to ½” scored line in 4 places (see figure 3). Add the DSP to one long side (this will be the front of the “post-it note holder”).
  5. Using Fast Fuse, fold in the ends of the post-it note holder (adhere the smaller piece in between the 2 larger pieces so you don’t have the flap to deal with).
  6. Adhere the “post-it note holder” to the front as picture shows using the tear & tape adhesive about ¾” from the bottom.
  7. Center the large pearl to the bottom piece as picture shows (this is what will hold up your holder).
  8. Stamp the banner in Pear Pizzazz.
  9. Stamp the desired sentiment in Peekaboo Peach in center of banner.
  10. Punch out using the Duet Banner Punch. Adhere to front using Stampin Dimensionals.
  11. Tie the white twine into a bow and add using a glue dot.

  • Stamp peach in Peekboo Peach, add outline in Basic Black. Punch out with Circle Punch.
  • Stamp leaves in Pear Pizzazz, add outline in Basic Black. Cut out with Snips.
  • Cut White Doily in half, adhere to left side of base card.
  • Adhere DSP and strip of Pear Pizzazz, stamp message. Add Dimensionals to peach and leaves, adhere to card.
  • Add one gold metallic enamel shape to peach.

Flourish Thinlits

This card made with the Flourish Thinlits uses some of my favorite Stampin' Up! core colors and one of the new 2016-2018 In Colors…can you spot it? If you said Sweet Sugarplum you'd be correct!


The die-cut images are the focal point of this card; no extra Designer Series Paper or ribbon needed; just a few rhinestones to give some extra pop!   • Whisper White Thick: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” (fold in half)

  1. Fold the card base in half.
  2. Cut out the Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry cardstock with the dies on the Big Shot.
  3. Ink up the saying using the markers that match the cardstock. Start with the lightest colors and move the darker colors.  Be sure to huff on the stamp before you stamp it on small piece of white cardstock.
  4. Cut out the saying, on the Big Shot with an oval framelit die.
  5. Attach the die cut cardstock to the front of the card using the fine tip glue pen. Use only very small dabs of glue on each piece. TIP: Lay out the pieces first so you can see how they will join.
  6. Attach the saying to the front of the card with dimensionals.
  7. Add rhinestones to the flowers.

  • Cherry Cobbler Base: 8 ½ X 5 ½ and scraps to cut the ‘poinsettias’
  • Gold Foil: 5 ¼ X 4
  • Very Vanilla 3×3 scrap


  1. Cut 2 small & 1 large poinsettia from Flourish Thinlits out of cherry cobbler card stock
  2. Using the largest Detailed Floral Thinlit, cut from the bottom portion of gold foil.
  3. Stamp sentiment of choice in cherry cobbler ink and cut with layering circle framelits.
  4. Cut gold ribbon at 5 ½” and adhere to gold foil.
  5. Adhere gold foil to cherry cobbler cardstock base, using fine-tip glue pen
  6. Adhere circle sentiment to gold foil front, using dimensionals
  7. Place 1 dimensional in the center, on backside of each poinsettia
  8. Adhere the poinsettias around the circle sentiment
  9. Paint the poinsettias with a gold Wink of Stella
  10. Place Pearls in center of poinsettias
  11. Take a pinch of dazzling diamonds and sprinkle on top of front poinsettia to cover the sticky of the dimensionals

  • Cherry Cobbler: 4” x 11” scored at 1-1/2”, 5-1/2” and 7-1/4”
  • Whisper White: 3-1/2” x 3”
  • Peach Ribbon: 8”


  1. Stamp large jar on left side of white card stock in gray ink. Stamp LOVE in Cherry Cobbler to the right side of jar and add other words in Basic Gray. Stamp fish inside jar in Peekaboo Peach (vertically).
  2. Lay scored Cherry Cobbler cardstock with largest area at the top. Adhere white stamped cardstock (framed closest to the score line~ leaving more room at the top) using Fast Fuse.
  3. Use “inside jar” framelit to cut through both layers, leaving a window in your jar. HINT: You should be able to cut out the goldfish at the same time if you stamped him vertically!
  4. Fill gusseted bag halfway with fish crackers. Fold top down and staple each side.
  5. Insert bag into cardstock pouch, folding 1-1/2” scored edge over the top. Staple peach ribbon to the top edge of the pouch (through all four layers: ribbon, cardstock, cello bag and cardstock, creating a “matchbook” pouch)
  6. Tuck front of pouch (with the jar) under the top (stapled) edge to close.
  7. Tie bow. Add fish to front with dimensional.

  1. Emboss white cardstock using Confetti embossing folder & Big Shot.
  2. Using black ink, stamp sentiment in middle of small white cardstock.
  3. Apply washi tape across top & bottom of stamped white cardstock. Layer onto Sweet Sugarplum & black cardstock mats.
  4. Pierce hole on both sides of stamped assembly. Place 4” black twine thru each hole.
  5. Attach assembly to embossed white cardstock using dimensionals.
  6. Spread black twine & attach to back of embossed white cardstock using scotch tape. Attach entire assembly to card front.
  7. Punch 2 small flowers from scrap Sweet Sugarplum & Blushing Bride cardstocks. Brush Wink of Stella over flowers for glimmer effect.
  8. Attach flowers to card front using mini glue dots.

  • Stamp Happy Birthday and color with the Blender Pens and Peak-a-boo Peach ink pad (squeeze the ink pad when closed to pool the ink in the lid for coloring).
  • Stamp the line image at the bottom of the card base.

  • Crumb Cake Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” (scored at 4 ¼”), Card Base
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock 5 3/8” x 4 1/8” (first layer)
  • Bermuda Bay 5 ¼” x 4” Front layer
  • Whisper White ¾” x 4”


  1. Rub Embossing Buddy over the front of the Bermuda Bay Cardstock.
  2. Stamp the cut flower image from the ‘Touches of Texture’ stamp set onto VersaMark and then Archival Black Ink and onto the Bermuda Bay cardstock.
  3. Clean Stamp and repeat VersaMark/Archival Black ink another 2 times in different positions across the bottom of the card. Work quickly.
  4. Cover all stamped images with Clear embossing powder.and melt and heat set with Heat Tool.
  5. Using White Chalk Marker color in the flowers & blossoms. Once dry, color over the top of the White Chalk Marker with Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Write Marker and then a touch of Rose Red Stampin’ Write marker in the centers.
  6. Colour in the leaves with Cucumber Crush Stampin’ Write Marker.
  7. Stamp the honeycomb style image from the ‘Touches of texture’ stamp set in Crumb Cake and then onto the Whisper White Cardstock. Once dry dust with the Embossing Buddy.
  8. Stamp the sentiment from ‘Cottage Greetings’ into VersaMark and then Black Archival Ink and then onto the piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Cover with Clear Embossing powder and heat set.
  9. VersaMark/Black Archival ink the bee image onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and the cover with Clear Embossing Powder. Heat set. Color the Bee image in with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.
  10. Using a Glue Dot, adhere the Bee to card front at an angle. Cut off any overhanging Whisper White Cardstock (past the bee).
  11. Staple the Lace Ribbon and Sentiment Banner on to the upper right-hand-side of the Bermuda Bay cardstock.
  12. Adhere the Bermuda Bay front panel onto the Crumb Cake panel. Then secure both panels on to the card side of the Crumb Cake cardstock base.
  13. Add some small pearls at top right.

Touches of Texture was the perfect stamp set to use today; I love the beautiful flowers on this card. I still have flowers on my mind from my 1/2 price buys at Lowe's over the weekend.   • Flirty Flamingo: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
  • Early Espresso: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
  • Whisper White: 5 x 3 3/4 & scrap to punch greeting


  1. Stamp all outline flower images randomly in Early Espresso ink
  2. Stamp fill in flower images in colors per sample (stamping Sweet Sugarplum small flowers multiple times without re-inking to create variation of tone)
  3. Add background texture dotted splatter stamp in Crumb Cake ink stamping twice without re-inking to create variations of tone
  4. Add second background texture stamp with So Saffron stamping twice without re-inking to create variations of tone.
  5. Stamp Bee stamp with Early Espresso ink as desired
  6. Attach stamped piece to Early Espresso layer and add ribbon (adhere to back)
  7. Stamp greeting on scrap of white in Early Espresso ink along with second texture stamp in So Saffron
  8. Punch out Greeting and attach over ribbon with dimensionals

Moroccan Lantern Card

I have to say, Moroccan Nights was not my favorite new stamp set…but, I love the way this Moroccan Lantern Card looks! The “splatter technique” really makes the lanterns pop, don't you think?

Card Stock – Emerald Envy (141415); Dapper Denim (141414); Very Vanilla (101650)

Stamp Pads – Basic Black Archival (140931), Crushed Curry (131173), Cajun Craze (126965), Dapper Denim (141394), Emerald Envy (141396)


Misc. – Moroccan Designer Series Paper (DSP) (141645); Sponge Daubers (133773); Aqua Painters (103954)



  • Emerald Envy: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”
  • Dapper Denim: 4” x 3 3/8”
  • Very Vanilla: 4” x 3”
  • DSP: 4” x 5 1/4”


  • Stamp Lanterns and Thank You in Black archival ink on Very Vanilla card stock and allow to dry.
  • Sponge Crushed Curry ink starting inside lanterns (darkest) out across the card stock (lighter as it moves away from the lanterns) using sponge daubers.
  • Start at the top edge sponging Cajun Craze (darkest) moving to blend with the Curry color (lighter)


    1. Start at the bottom edge of the card stock sponging Dapper Denim ink and getting lighter as you move up the card. Leave room for the Emerald Envy and blend from the Denim side (darkest) into the Curry above (lighter).
    2. Splatter water from your aqua painter onto the ombre background. Allow to sit for 15-25 seconds and blot excess water off. Let it dry.
  • Stamp star around lanterns with Crushed Curry ink.
  • Layer and assemble the Moroccan Lantern card as shown.
