the kids were busy playing, being quiet as a mouse (or mice, as the case may be!) Okay, maybe they aren't being quiet, but hopefully they ARE playing with some of their new toys, so that means you have some time to stamp! I've been stamping some birthday cards and next on my list is stamping some "friend" cards. Here is a great sample using our "All Holidays" stamp set. Enjoy!
Card Stock: Sage Shadow, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Autumn Vine Designer Series Paper, card stock of your choice.
Ink: Sage Shadow, Really Rust, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write® Markers
Dimensions: All dimensions are in inches.
Really Rust: 8 ½ x 5 ½
Whisper White: 1 7/8 x 2 ¼
Sage Shadow: 2 1/8 x 2 ½
Chocolate Chip: 2 3/8 x 2 ¾ and 4 x 6
Autumn Vine DSP: 12 squares punched with the 1 3/8-inch square punch.
Other Card Stock: This piece can be any color and should be 4 x 6
Other Supplies: Big Shot machine and Top Note die, 1 3/8-inch square punch, scissors Stampin’ Dimensionals®, adhesive of choice.
Instructions:
Ink your stamp with markers and stamp on Whisper White card stock.
Layer onto coordinating mats. Run your Chocolate Chip card stock
through the Sizzix Big Shot with the Top Note die and set aside. Design
a pattern with your squares and adhere them to your piece of card
stock. Run this through with the Top Note die also. Use the perforated
lines to cut the excess from your quilted piece then layer onto the
Chocolate Chip mat and adhere to the card. Place your sentiment using
dimensionals.
