Today's technique comes from our new Triple Layer Punches. Have you ordered either of them yet? They are the coolest thing and there are two to choose from!
The Stampin' Up! Triple Layer Punch is a brand new product available in the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog that creates three different coordinating layers with just one punch. This tool allows you to choose your punch image by simply sliding the lever on the end of the punch.
The punched images look beautiful layered together or separately on a handmade card. Layers from the two different punches also look great together. The negative image of the punch can be used as a stencil with a sponge.
Two triple-layer punches are available in the Summer Mini Catalog: the Doily punch and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. In this card, I used the Blossom Bouqet punch to build the flower and to make the lace border on the bottom of the card.
One more little tip for today; if you look closely, you will see how I've used a sliver of So Saffron card stock through the center of the Rich Razzleberry button. This is a great way to use up card stock scraps and gives a different effect then hemp twine or Linen Thread.
Check back later this week and Dave will do another Stamp Slave video about these awesome new punches! Look for some tips you won't find elsewhere…
