Tips For Using Fringe Scissors

If you haven’t quite mastered the technique of using the new fringe scissors, here are a couple of tips:

1. Be sure to use the middle of the blades (instead of going all the way in near the scissor handles); this will give you a much cleaner cut.

2. If you are having a hard time cutting your fringe in a straight line, use a ruler to draw a line on the back of your cardstock, and then use as a guide while cutting. Your “grass” or “fringe” will line up perfectly!

3. If you don’t like the look of the fringe, try putting a piece of scotch tape on the back of your paper so that when you are cutting, you are cutting through the tape and the cardstock. You will get a different look.
