Wanted to share my Valentine Treats “make and Take” from Stampin' Bingo this past weekend. The one on the left is a sour cream container made with the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack in the Occasions Mini. If you have never made a sour cream container and filled with treats or if it's been awhile, these little gems are so, so easy to create! Take a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ sheet of paper and run some Sticky Strip along the edges (don't use a tape runner like SNAIL; you need a stronger hold) as shown below. Remove the Sticky Strip backing from the side and bottom, roll into a tube shape and pinch together the bottom. Fill with candy, diamonds for yourself, or…whatever! Remove the backing on the top piece of Sticky Strip and pinch together. Decorate as desired.
This is a quick, easy project that would make rockin' class valentines for your child's classmates.
The project on the right came in the January Paper Pumpkin Kit. There were enough supplies to make 24 of these adorable little treats; everything was included except the candy. Look closely to see the cute little gold clips and pink twine.
If you haven't heard about Paper Pumpkin, let me tell you about it! This creative escape comes once a month right to your door in an orange box, filled with a different project every month. It might be cards, a home decor item, treat holders, pinwheels…something new every month.
Watch this short video and see how easy these little treats came together!
Right now you can “test drive” for three months, save $5, AND get a free Sale-A-Bration item. Check out the three month pre-paid option. Other options include a one month, 6 month, or twelve month prepaid subscription, or a month-to-month subscription. I'm sure you'll find one that best works for you!
These also make a great gift for a crafting friend' especially someone who doesn't have a lot of room to store crafting supplies!
