Yesterday I answered one of the questions I most often receive from my email newsletter community. If you missed it, you can read my post by clicking here.
Today I wanted to touch on another great question:
Which Stampin' Up! ink should I use?
You can use any of our Classic Ink Pads on our Whisper White/Very Vanilla or any of our colored cardstock. If you stamp one color of ink on the same color of cardstock, you'll achieve a “watermark” or “tone on tone” look.
If you are using a water pen, brush, or a Blender Pen, you would need to use StazOn Jet Black ink as it is waterproof and will not bleed when adding water to your image.
To color with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, you will want to use Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is a fade resistant dye ink. You would also use this ink when stamping images (such as sentiments or greetings) which do not need to be colored.
I use Stampin' Blends on Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock. You will want to be sure to put something like a piece of chipboard or the backing that comes in our DSP packages under your project when coloring with these markers. The Blends do bleed through and you don't want to ruin your stamping surface!
Hope my “what is your biggest cardmaking challenge part 2” helped you today.
