Can you believe Christmas is almost here! I've been listening to Christmas songs during the day while I work. We do all sorts of fun things at our office, including cube decorations. Our Underwriting gang is doing a “Grinch” theme and I am loving it!
Have you seen this movie? Brings tears to my eyes every time I hear this Faith Hill, Where Are You Christmas?, one of the songs from the movie.
I think this song captures the best moment in the movie, when the Grinch's heart became full of love and spilled over to the folks in Who-ville.
Love. Isn't that what Christmas is really all about? Yes, the presents with glittery bows, the smell of Christmas cookies baking in the oven, spending time with family and friends are all wonderful. Who doesn't love shaking that special present under the tree in hopeful anticipation? The joy in my grand-cherubs eyes brings ME much joy, too. But truly, without love, where would we be?
If you'll indulge me for another moment, I want to share a couple of pictures from our Girls, INK Christmas party last night. My heart is always so full after our annual party. Even though not everyone could attend, it truly is an evening filled with laughter and love. We come from different places, all joined Stampin' Up! for different reasons, but we truly love each other and what we do!
Love. Yes, my heart is full of love this season. I have wonderful family and friends whom I dearly love and love me. And, I believe, I have an even greater love. The love of God in the love of His son Jesus. Indeed I am truly blessed.
