I have a Christmas Fun Fold handmade Christmas card today that will help you get a head start on your on holiday cardmaking! I shared this design with a group of my customers and members of my Girls, INK demonstrator team. I always have so much fun making fun fold cards and sharing them, too!
This handmade card design is easy to duplicate and you can make it as simple or as intricate as you like; just keep adding layers and embellishments until you are satisfied! Here are all the measurements and scroll after measurements to see my supply list. I also have my You Tube video below. Please subscribe to my channel and ring the bell so you will be notified every time I post a new video.
MEASUREMENTS:
This card actually has two (2) card bases, a larger bottom one and a smaller one that opens.
Larger card base:
8 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, scored at 5 1/2″
Smaller one that opens: 8″ x 3″, scored at 4″
Solid cardstock “mat” for large card bottom: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
DSP layer on top of the solid mat: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Solid mat on left flap: 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
DSP layer on top of solid mat on left flap: 2 3/4″ x 4″
Smaller card base that opens to the right: you will need 2 pieces of solid cardstock to form a mat on the bottom, inside layer and on the top layer: 3 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
Basic White cardstock layer on inside (for stamping or writing your greeting): 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Outside layer (on top of the mat layer): 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ – on my card I dry embossed this layer and then added my sentiment and embellishments
