One of my friends at work asked me to help him come up with something special for his wife for Mothers Day. As he put it, “Do your scrapbook thing…”, :-). I thought a, “stages”, thing might work well so I asked him to get me some pictures. These are all of Lily as she's grown. Isn't she gorgeous?
One of the pictures had pink gingham in the background, so right away our Gingham Designer Series Paper, (in the new catalog), was perfect. A current trend is to create sort of an ‘eclectic' look by pulling in different kinds of embellishments and scattering them asymmetrically on the page. That's perfect for me!!
I love using buttons so I used several different kinds and grabbed a few other goodies. Notice the little pieces of Lace Tape – I used it kind of like Washti and used it instead of photo corners.
