Hey Stampers! Today I have a Whimsical Trees Basic Borders Card to share with you. There are so many fun bundles in the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog but this one is a definite favorite! There are so many creative possibilities for the stamp set and dies. Of course, saving 10% is awfully nice as well!
The two main colors in today's tutorial, Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride look great together, don't you agree?
The curved die from the Basic Borders Dies makes an easy “snow” background. I have a You Tube Tutorial that shows some versatile ways to use these dies. I always like to recommend products I use and that I feel are a good investment!

Here are the instructions, including supplies and measurements to make today's Whimsical Trees Basic Borders Card.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets – Whimsical Trees (156330)
Card Stock (CS) – Blushing Bride (131198); Basic White Thick (159229)
Ink Pads – Mint Macaron (147106)
Misc. – Christmas Trees Dies (156339); Basic Borders Dies (155558); Treasured Tags Pick a Punch (154425); Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers (154889); Pearl Basic Jewels (144219); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Foam Adhesive Sheets (152815); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Bone Folder (102300); Take Your Pick Tool (144107); Paper Trimmer (152392); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Measurements:
Basic White Thick CS: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”; 4-1/4” x 5”; 3” x 1”
Blushing Bride CS: scraps for die cutting
Instructions:
Stamp the sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto the 3” x 1” CS strip, then punch both ends.
Stamp the 2 large and two small trees onto Blushing Bride CS, then die cut them.
Die cut one tall and one short skinny tree from Blushing Bride CS.
Die cut the 4-1/4” x 5” CS three times using the curved die from the Basic Borders Dies, to create hills.
Using the Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Marker, color 5 small and 2 large pearls.
Burnish the fold in the card base using a Bone Folder.
Adhere the bottom hill onto the bottom of the card base front using two layers of Foam Adhesive Sheet,
Adhere the middle hill using one layer of Foam Adhesive Sheet.
Glue the top hill onto the front of the card base.
Adhere the trees onto the hills, using glue and Stampin' Dimensionals as needed.
Adhere the sentiment over the trees and hills, using glue and Stampin' Dimensionals as needed.
Apply the pearls around the trees using your Take Your Pick tool.
