12 Weeks Of Halloween Week 2 Spooky Cat

Hey stampers! My project for you today is a cute little treat holder that uses the new Stampin' Up! Cat Punch, available on September 1st; that's only 3 days from today!

Whether you are making treats for neighbors, co-workers or children's classmates, this one is sure to please! One of the best things about this project? There is no stamping! The cat image comes from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) and is simply punched out with the cat punch. Of course, if you'd like to have a sentiment on your treat, just pick one of these three from the coordinating Spooky Cat Stamp set.

Supplies:

• Card Stock – Pumpkin Pie cardstock (105117)
• Misc. – Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) (144610); Cat Punch (144666); Vintage Crochet Trim (144611); Some Framelit (111112); Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:

• Pumpkin Pie cardstock: 8-1/2” x 2-3/4”
• DSP: 2” x 7” plus scrap for cat
• Trim: 12”

Instructions:

Score Pumpkin Pie cardstock at 5/8”, 4-3/8”, and 4-7/8” and fold into matchbook shape. Staple flap close to folded edge.

Wrap trim around flap and tie in a knot.

Insert Ghirardelli candy and gift card (optional) inside.

Wrap with strip of Designer Paper and adhere shut just loose enough so that it can be removed by recipient.

Punch one black cat from DSP and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Repeat as needed for your “Trick or Treat” needs.
