Another Fall/Halloween Idea

The altoid box sample was a big hit, so here is another idea for you. This one uses our Sizzix Big Shot Die Cut machine and was created by BJ Peters!  Don't have one? Here is some more info about it! (and of course, after reading all about it, if you MUST have one, just visit my online store! 🙂

Pumpkin Top Note sample
Big Shot Supplies
• Top Note
• Leaves #2
• Bag with Scallops

Card Stock and Ink

• Pumpkin Pie card stock and ink
• Garden Green card stock and ink
• Kraft card stock

Accessories

• 1-3/8” Circle punch
• sponges
• Sticky Strip and SNAIL adhesive
• Paper snips

Directions:

1. Create and assemble the Bag with Scallops in
Pumpkin Pie card stock. Cut off the top scallop from
the box so that it looks like a box and not a bag. It is
best to assemble this with Sticky Strip.
2. Cut four Top Note images in Pumpkin Pie. Adhere
one image to the front and back of your box using
Sticky Strip. Sponge the edges in Pumpkin Pie.
3. With the two remaining Top Notes you will re-cut
them on your Top Note die so that you get the
layering look on the front of your pumpkin. Place
your Top Note again on the Top Note die – the first
one leaving about 2-1/4” and resend through your
Sizzix machine. Repeat this with the other Top Note
to end with a strip a little more than an inch wide at
the top. You will also sponge the edges of these
pieces and adhere to the front.
4. Cut two leaves from the Leaves # 2 die in Garden
Green. Adhere to your pumpkin.
5. Cut a stem from Kraft paper.
6. Using a 1-3/8” Circle and your paper snips, spiral cut the circle and adhere it to your pumpkin near
the stem.
