Hello stampers! The “creeping crud” hit my world with a vengeance and I'm just now slowly feeling human again. Went to the doctor and he said this cough is taking 4-6 weeks to clear up. Now, if I could just hole up and be crafty for that time I'd be hunky dory. Alas, work still calls my nane…lol.
Prior to getting sick I was able to go on a crafting cruise with some of my buds. We enjoyed it so much, one of my downline and I are thinking of planning one ourselves. We had 4 classes on board, with most everything provided by the instructors. We did have to bring scissors and glue, but that was easy peasy.
Here are a few pages from my favorite project, a scrapbook in a box, cruise themed of course.
We constructed a platform first and then made this hinged book to go inside. I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. I'm actually going to use this to make a memory album when my husband I and go on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska this July. That trip is also a cruise, through the Inside Passage. We were fortunate to earn this trip in 2011 and it is our favorite cruise yet.
