Hello stampers! What a great weekend I had! The weather here in Texas was nice and I got to spend yesterday afternoon working on a Homecoming Mum. Now, I'm from California and we did not have anything remotely like this. A “mum” was a real flower mum and went into a small corsage on your wrist or dress. I can't post a picture yet because we are keeping it a surprise from my grandson's girlfriend. Let me just say it is BIG! When I asked another mom who has made plenty of these if it is too big she said oh no; go BIG or go home! So, there you go, a learning opportunity! But, I digress, let's get back to the main reason for my post today. I want to share some fall inspiration with Colorful Seasons.
This stamp set is another one of my personal favorites in the Holiday Seasonal Catalog; the images and greetings are charming and offer cardmaking versatility for every occasion year round.
Notice on the card just above, some of the little pieces were poked out with a paper piercing tool and some of the pieces remained in the leaf. This gives a fun, unique look.
