Happy Monday everyone! Boy, it's been a whirlwind week. We spent a glorious week in Alaska on the Explorer of the Seas as a guest of Stampin' Up! on our annual incentive trip. We crammed so much fun into those 7 days. Here are just a few pictures of our adventures.

We took a helicopter ride to Chillkat Glacier and breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe the beauty.
In addition to the gorgeous scenery, we were pampered beyond belief by Stampin' Up! Here are a few of our pillow gifts.
Had a bit of a sad end when we returned home. A dear friend lost her battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday. We will all miss her terribly but at least she is suffering no more. As I was thinking about a project for today's post, this “enjoy life” card seemed to fit the bill. We never know when our time on earth is over so I do want to enjoy life, just as my friend Tami did until cancer took her. It is indeed a precious privilege to be alive!
Here are the instructions, including measurements and supplies.
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets – Enjoy Life (148190)
- Card Stock – Soft Suede (115318), Grapefruit Grove (146972), Whisper White (100730), Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper (146338)
- Stamp Pads – Grapefruit Grove (147142), Soft Suede (147115)
- Misc. – Stampin’ Dimensionals (104330), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Paper Snips (103579)
Measurements:
- Soft Suede: 5 ½” x 4 ¼”, scored at 4 ¼”; 4 ½” x 3 ¼”; 3 1/8” x 2 3/8”
- Whisper White: 3” x 2 ¼”
- DSP: 5 ¼” x 4”; 5 ¼” x 1”; 4 ¼” x 3”
- Grapefruit Grove: ½” x 4 ¼”
Instructions:
- Stamp the image of the person onto the whisper white cardstock using Grapefruit Grove ink. Stamp a bit to the left of the cardstock.
- Stamp sentiment in the center, using Soft Suede Ink.
- Using Paper Snips, cut banner tails in both ends of Grapefruit Grove strip.
- Assemble the card as shown – adhering the DSP to the card base first. Then assemble the smaller panel. Attach this to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals – placing the dimensionals only to the left side of the panel.
