Directions:
1. Die cut Bag with Scallops from Lovely Lilac card stock and assemble using Sticky Strip. You
will cut off the scallop part of the box and discard.
2. Die cut two Gable Green and one Lovely Lilac Top Note pieces. Adhere Gable Green Top Notes
to the front and back of your box using Sticky Strip. Using a sponge and Gable Green ink, you
will sponge the edges of these Top Notes. Using the Lovely Lilac Top Note piece, cut into two
sections, one about 1/3 of the Top Note (when you are looking at the Top Note vertically, this
will be above the center notch). The cut you will make with your paper snips will be of a zigzag
nature and with random lengths and widths. This creates the hair. The small section will be
adhered to the front of your box and the larger portion will be adhered to the back so there is a
longer length of hair in the back. You could also use felt or craft foam for the hair to give
Frankie’s hair a “texturized” look and feel. (I love that my Big Shot can cut all of these different
materials!)
3. Punch a Gable Green Round Tab punch and sponge edges with Gable Green ink. Place a
Stampin’ Dimensional on the bottom center of one of the tabs. This is the bottom end of the nose.
Slide the top end under the hairline and adhere to your box.
4. Punch one 1” Gable Green circle and cut in half for the eyelids. Sponge the edges and using your
Stampin’ Write marker, make eyelashes. Place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and set aside.
5. Punch two Whisper White 1” circles and place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
6. Punch two 1/2” Basic Black circles and adhere to the Whisper White circles towards the bottom
and positioned to create normal (or not so normal!) eye pupils. Using your white gel pen, mark a
highlight in each eye.
7. Assemble your eye and place the Whisper White edges touching over the Round Tab punch just
under the hairline.
8. Using your Stampin’ Write marker, draw his mouth using a railroad track type pattern. You could
also embellish with several stitches.
