Stamping Inspiration Can Be Found Anywhere!

Hey Stamping Peeps! If you ever find yourself wanting to try using new colors for your handmade cards but aren't quite sure where to start, today's post has you covered! Stamping inspiration can be found anywhere!  I'm going to show you how I use an ordinary photograph to inspire me. It might be a photo you've taken and stored in your phone images or perhaps you see a photo in a magazine that catches your eye. Maybe you've taken a walk and snapped some flowers or other landscapes.

Here's my photo inspiration:

Can you see all the rich colors and imagine how my mind jumped right to some Stampin' Up!® colors I might use?

I did have a stamp set in mind to use, but if I hadn't chosen one yet, I would just start looking on my shelf and see which one jumped out at me and maybe also think of the occasion and recipient for my card.

I chose Celebrate Sunflowers and a few Stampin' Blends that would bring out the yellows and greens from this photo. Here is my card.

Can you see the shades of yellow, green and brown in the original photo that I incorporated into my card?

If you have any questions about using this technique to give you some new cardmaking inspiration, I'd love to hear from you! Remember, stamping inspiration can be found anywhere!

I've shared product links below in case you want to add any of the supplies I used.
