Hey stampers! I have the best tool tip for you today…seriously!
On Page 182 of Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog lies something that will make one of your papercrafting “challenges” disappear…no really…no fooling!
It doesn't look like much, I'll give you that. But, this silicone craft sheet will help you get glue from your Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Fine-Tip Glue Pens onto your project but not onto your fingers and places on your project not meant for glue. Here's how:
Place those detailed images you've cut from your favorite framelits and thinlits dies face down onto the sheet. Squirt out a small bit of the glue onto one corner of the sheet. Take a piece of Stampin' Sponge and dab onto the glue. Then “pounce” the glue onto the back of the die-cut piece. Carefully slip a bone folder, paper piercer or your fingernail under the piece and then transfer it to your project. You won't have glue on your fingers, the glue on the mat will dry and you'll brush it away…voila! No more sticky fingers and ruined glue-laden projects!
Have trouble when making flowers or other 3D embellishments? This little gem helps with that, too. You can easily assemble your embellishment–just put a dot of adhesive on the sheet, use both hands to assemble the embellishment, then pop it off the sheet when the glue is dry.
I know you are going to want to add one of these nifty little silicone craft sheets to your next order.
