Tone on tone stamping is one of my favorite rubber stamping ideas. The "normal" way to do this technique is to ink your stamp in the same color as your card stock. But, here is another "cheater" way, if you perhaps don't own all the ink colors…although why wouldn't you…lol! If you stamp your image using the Versamark Ink Pad and then stamp directly onto your cardstock, you will get the same look as if you used the same ink color. One tip to remember when using Versamark Ink, be sure to either heat set it or leave out overnight to dry so you don't smudge the image.
In this card, I used Soft Suede Ink and Soft Suede Card Stock for the image on the left. I think it creates such a simple, yet classy, look.
