I love to look for ways to occasionally create my own embellishments to use on projects.
I've had my Crimper for years. Such a simple, yet versatile tool! For an embellishment on this card, I found a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock in my scrap bin, took the crimper and ran the scrap through. Then I used some Stampin' Dimensionals to mount it and used them again to mount the “Joy” circle. Really gives it a lot of additional texture!
I find it a lot easier, when using the crimper, to start with a piece of paper that is longer than what I need. That way, after I get the crimping done, I can trim it to the size I want. I never worry about it coming up short!
