Glad you came back today for my punch tips. I used my Color Coach to pick out a color combo for my handmade card that I hadn't used before: Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, and Pumpkin Pie. I used my punch and punched out several pieces using each setting. Once I was happy with the placement on my card, I adhered my pieces and ran through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. This gives your card a totally different look than just adhering the pieces on top of a card front that was separately run through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
I stamped "just for fun" in black ink on a scrap of Pacific Point Card Stock and then punched out using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. I cut off the right half of the circle and used two Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up that little piece.
Here is one more fun thing: Notice the white center in the solid Melon Mambo flower? It is a Whisper White brad from the Neutrals collection and I ran it right through the embossing folder! I curled up the edges of the flower and then, I took my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker and added a bit of color to the center of the brad.
See what you can come up with and share with my readers by leaving a comment.
