It’s A Cherry Cobbler Day!

Don't you just love Cherry Cobbler? If this is your first time to visit my blog…I'm talking about the Stampin' Up! color, not the food. But, now that I think of it….cherry cobbler dessert is pretty tasty, too!

But, back to stamping…..

I know there are some of you out there who have not started your holiday cards and might be looking around for some inspiration. Since Cherry Cobbler is my absolute favorite SU color, I wanted to feature a couple of cards that use this color and are easy to put together. Here is something you can add to your favorite stamping techniques.

On the ornament card I used the Christmas Tree Stamp from the Paisly Prints Stamp Set, inked with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink, stamped onto Very Vanilla Card Stock. You stamp the tree one way, then turn it upside down and stamp again, then upright and stamp again. I did this several times on my paper and then used the Ornament Punch to stamp out once I found the exact pattern I liked. (My friend's daughter, Angel, came up with this fun technique!)
