I’ve been stamping for over 18 years! I’m so excited to know that you are interested in giving stamping a try.
You don’t have to be “crafty” or have a lot of “stuff” to do this. I know it can be overwhelming but it’s really much easier than you think! I’m here to help you along the way!
It’s a fun, creative outlet that you can do with friends or just by yourself. During this past year I found myself with time on my hands and I had so much enjoyment making cards.
When you create a card and share it with someone you are bringing a bit of sunshine to them…instead of a bill!?
Here is a little information to help you get started!
You Need 3 Things to Get Started!
- Stamps: you can start with red rubber (cling) or photopolymer (clear) stamps. Whether you're using an image of a cake or a sentiment that says “Happy Birthday”, this is where your stamping fun begins and is the focal point of your card.
- Ink (stamp pads): Adding ink to your stamp and then putting your image to paper is where the fun begins! You see your project start to “magically” take shape before your eyes. I just love seeing the joy when a new stamper sees this all come together on their very first card!
- Paper (Cardstock): Believe it or not, the paper you choose does make a difference. Stampin' Up!® is known in the “crafting world” for its quality cardstock.
