Puppy Love Valentine Punch Art

I saw this cute little project on a craft website last week….of course I had to try using Stampin' Up! products and changing to make it my own…can't just totally CASE!! I was doing a class at the library in Howe, TX and all the girls, ages 10 to senior in high school and their moms, seemed to enjoy this project.

We've set a date and I'll be teaching them some scrapbooking techniques for their “senior” scrapbooks. The evening will culminate with each of them doing 4 pages I am bringing. If you live near the area and have a high school senior who might enjoy (Howe, Sherman, Pottsboro, Dennison, etc), please give me a shout and I'll give you the details. We'd love to have your senior join us…the more the merrier in our crafting vortex!

Now, back to this project. I used the Hearts Collection Framelits for the puppy's body, feet, ears, nose and red glitter “heart”. The accenting on ears and feet is done with White Stampin' Chalk Marker. Card base is Strawberry Slush 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock, body, ears and feet are done with Baked Brown Sugar 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock, nose is Basic Black scrap and heart is scrap of Red Glimmer Paper. I drew in eyes with Black marker.

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you a VERY easy Valentine note card made with 1/2″ circles.
