My friend Debbie gave me a card and the layout inspired me when creating this birthday card make and take for an upcoming Sale-A-Bration workshop….more about Sale-A-Bration at the end of this post.
I love simple layouts that can be used with different stamp sets, sentiments, colors, embellishments…you name it! You can even turn a horizontal card vertically to come up with a totally different look.
This card uses Stampin' Up!'s Quatrafancy Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pool Party, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight 8-1/2″ x 11″ colored cardstock, Another Great Year Stamp Set (from Celebrate The Everyday Occasions Catalog), Decorative Dots Textured Embossing Folder, several Stampin' Write Markers, adhesive and a few rhinestones. All supplies can be purchased at my online store.
Card base is standard 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, embossed layer is 5-1/4″ x 4″, large flag is 4″ x 1-1/2″, and smaller flag is 2-1/2″ x 3/4″.
