Wow…it's already Day 7 of my Halloween Series…and I'm not finished showing you all the projects! I've been on a scrapbooking retreat and have a few more things to share so please pop back next week!
This fun banner would add bit of “spook” to your office cubicle or at a Halloween party. My friend Dee Ann saw one done by Miechelle at Stampin' U and she created one for me, changing it up just a bit. It uses the Witches Brew Designer Series Paper (After seeing all the projects this week, can you see how one pack of DSP can make so many different kinds of projects?), ribbon, brads and a few scraps of solid cardstock. You can really use any embellishments…try different combos and see which you like best!
If you look at the second picture here, you will see one of the best parts of the entire project…DeeAnn came up with the best way to secure her cording to the back of the project; I think it is ingenious! Instead of pushing the brad through and separating the prongs in the normal way, she bent each prong over the cording in order to hold it in place…no more ugly scotch tape on the back!
Tomorrow I'll show you the most adorable ghost on canvas and I'll give you some tips so you can create one of your own…see you then!
