Tuesday Technique – Watercoloring

Today's technique focuses on one way to watercolor, using a Watercolor Wonder Crayon to color directly on your image. Here is the basic technique:

1. Apply your favorite, light-colored watercolor crayon directly to your stamp; solid stamps work best. Cover the entire surface with a light color, then outline some parts with a darker shade for contrast.

2. Spritz with a fine mist of water and press stamp onto Whisper White, Shimmer White, Confetti White Card Stock or Water Color Paper (try all four and see the different looks you get). Allow the stamp to stay on the paper for a few seconds to allow the color to completely transfer.

3. Complete your card as desired.

If you were not able to attend my Watercoloring Technique Class last month, I have an offer for you that is good today only! Visit my online store and make any purchase and I will send you the PDF with instructions for all the projects shown below.
