Hey Stampers! Have you heard of the Pantone 2021 Core Colors? I love to check these out each year and see what's trending. I know the designers at Stampin' Up!® follow this, too. Some years the colors are so bright, yet in other years, soft and subtle is “in”. This year the two core colors are Ultimate Gray and Illuminating.
Pantone calls the color pair, “A marriage of color conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting.” (by Erin Dollar, Jan 4, 2021). For me, these colors convey “hominess”, tranquility, and peace. I've always loved gray tones but, honestly, haven't been too much into yellow. But, these Pantone 2021 core colors had me thinking. what Stampin' Up!® colors are similar? Here's what I selected:
