Hey Stampers! I don't know about you, but I love to color! I think maybe that's because I spend a lot of time with my grandcherubs and coloring is something they certainly enjoy! Right now, this cutie uses crayons for most of her artwork but as she gets older I will teach her why I love alcohol markers for stamping!😀 I think she could definitely be a future Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator!
My Monday Night Facebook “live” tonight will focus on using isopropyl alcohol, Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, vellum and ink pads to create beautiful cards. I'll show several different techniques. At 6:00 PM CDT, just pop over to my Facebook Channel and you can join in the fun. I love teaching, especially about all the different ways to use our products.
Did you know that Stampin' Blends can be used to create skin tones when you put a few different ones together? A friend of mine created the chart below for us to share.
Here's how you use it:
- On the far left you'll see colors listed. Going across the chart, mark a few lines of each color in each square going across. Fill in the entire chart.
- Once you have every square filled in, go back (starting with Ivory) and fill in a few lines on top of each color going down each column, using the indicated color.
The colors will change just a bit as you add one color on top of the other. Once you've filled in all the squares, you'll have a little “cheat sheet” to use when needing skin tone ideas.
Remember to join me “live” tonight and you'll see why I love alcohol markers for stamping!
