Embossed Embossing? Am I seeing double? NO! This is a fun technique you might not yet have tried.
It's pretty easy if you just follow these steps:
1. Place your cardstock inside the embossing folder and emboss with the Big Shot Die-Cutting machine (you could also use the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper; a free Sale-A-Bration item (138635); this paper is already embossed so you could do this and other fun techniques with it right away!
2. Apply the “Embossing Buddy” over the entire cardstock. This step is important and will keep unwanted specks of embossing powder from appearing on your embossed piece.
3. Ink up a Brayer with a Versamark pad. Carefully apply the ink onto only the raised surfaces of your embossed cardstock; re-ink your brayer as necessary (you can also use a Stampin' Sponge or Sponge Dauber).
4. Sprinkle clear embossing powder onto the entire inked surface. Tap off all excess powder before heating with your Heat Tool.
5. Gently heat the embossing powder, making sure to keep your heat tool moving during this step: do not overheat the powder!
6. Trim the embossed piece to the desired size and complete your project like the sample below!!
