…but we still need to give them handmade cards on their birthday and other special occasions, don't we? My customers tell me all the time it is easy for them to stamp "girly" cards, but much harder when trying to stamp a masculine birthday card. Can you relate?
At my March monthly group meeting, Andrea showed us some of the cards she has been creating with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976). Instead of running her paper through the Big Shot Die Cut Machine the regular way, (paper inserted into folder with SU Logo facing up), she ran it through with the logo on the bottom so the pattern comes out in reverse. I changed some of her colors and here is what I came up with!
Notice the red Glimmer Brad and small piece of 3/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon that I used to accent the card to give it a little pop but not girlify it too much…Mr. Webster would be chagrined but you get my drift!
Check back tomorrow for another example of how to make handmade cards using the Embossing Folder in the regular way.
