Hello stampers…our weather here in the Dallas area has gone from snow to sunshine to hail to sunshine…MAYBE Spring is here to stay???? Let's hope for the best!!
This card uses one of my favorite colors, Calypso Coral. The second flower is “shadow stamped” (the technique of re-stamping an image before re-inking it) to make it lighter. This is a great way to get a lighter and darker shade of the exact same color by just using one color of ink pad!
The Flower Medallion Punch from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog coordinates beautifully with the image; I just LOVE it when I can use coordinating punches or Framelits. This punch not only coordinates with this stamp set “Crazy About You”, but it also coordinates with another stamp set in the Occasions Catalog called “Petal Potpourri”.
