Swap Share

My talented group of downline stampers are swapping again at our group meeting tomorrow! I have been so busy that I didn't get mine done until Saturday and here it is!

Our theme was "Congratulations" and I can't wait to see what everyone did. I used our Celebrations Designer Series Paper (117164) to create this fun Hippo card that could be used for a Boy Baby Congratulations, or a fun card to give a young child to acknowledge an accomplishment. My focal image is the hippopatamus and greeting from our Pun Fun Stamp Set (115054). I stamped this image in Jet Black Staz On Ink ( 101406) and colored using my Aqua Painter (103954) and Pacific Point (111837), Real Red (103133) and Bashful Blue (105209) Classic Ink Pads.

If you've never used an Aqua Painter, this fun tool allows you to watercolor like a pro! It is less messy and more transportable than a cup and watercolor brush. One medium tip pen and one large tip pen come packaged for $16.95. You can use any of our card stocks for watercoloring, but I find that our watercolor paper or Confetti White/Vanilla work best since they are more fibrous and will absorb the water better.

I'll share the handmade cards from this talented group of ladies later in the week so be sure to check back.
