Wardrobe Malfunction – Rhinestones to the Rescue! HA! Do I have your attention? Now, this is not a wardrobe malfunction of Olympic proportions but it sure caused me just a wee bit of pause this morning!
I was getting ready for work, wanting to wear a “blingy” t-shirt that hasn't seen the light of day in awhile. I put it on and…GASP!
Do you see it? The grey spot in the middle where there SHOULD be a rhinestone? If your eyes are quite sharp you will see a few other little grey spots…but, I digress.
I doubt my co-workers would be looking that closely but…I knew my shirt was missing some of its bling.
AHA I said to myself. What would any self respecting Stampin' Up! demonstrator do? Why, march into the craft room, take out a package of rhinestones, a pair of Paper Snips and start fixing this “wardrobe malfunction”! That's just what I did!
TADA! Here's the finished piece…not bad!
As I looked more closely I saw some of the copperish rhinestones were also missing. Hmmm…Stampin' Up! doesn't sell those.
AHA! We DO sell Stampin' Blends that work beautifully for coloring rhinestones. So, I took out my Bronze marker and got to work. Here is the result.
Moral of my story today? Your craft room has an answer for all of life's problems…well, not really. But, it does hold the key to some small fixes!!
